Back at resorts today on my list of my 25 favorite things at Walt Disney World....#16 is the Polynesian Resort. We totally adore this resort, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts, since we spent our "belated" honeymoon there in February of 2010. It is such a relaxing resort to spend time at, with the feeling that the world has stopped and you are in a land far away from everything stressful.
We stayed in the Tahiti building with our room on ground level, we could walk right out our patio doors, and walk out onto the beach. We had a great view of Magic Kingdom, and we were able to watch the Electric Water Pageant one evening.
Capt. Cooks quick service dining is great! What more can you ask for in one place.....TONGA TOAST, and Make you OWN Dole Whip!!
Kona Cafe is also a wonderful place to dine, and we loved the atmosphere!
How can you not love this lobby area! It just says AAAAhhhhhh......the minute you walk in!
