FOODIE FRIDAY! Have You Dined at Hollywood & Vine?

One of our favorite dining locations at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the buffet location of Hollywood & Vine.  We really feel it's the best buffet on Walt Disney World property.  There is such a wide variety to choose from, and everything is always extremely fresh.  I have now eaten at this location three times, and it has not disappointed me.
If you are going to be at Hollywood Studios, make sure to get a reservation at this awesome dining location!  You can take advantage of the Fantasmic Dinner Package when you eat here.  Reserve your VIP spot at this dazzling nighttime spectacular with a dining package at this location.   You can have a mouthwatering meal before Fantasmic!, a stunning musical show of colorful waterworks, exciting fireworks and loaded with Disney characters!!

Below is the information from the Walt Disney World website, and some photos I have on file.  Since we have dined there at dinner time, this is the menu I have posted.   The peel n' Eat Shrimp are always delicious, as well as the muscles...and the Lobster and Shrimp Mac N Cheese......OMG!. Oh, and let us not forget the chocolate fountain........with the fresh fruit!

 Enjoy!

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

I believe I have posted this before, but it's been a while.  This is my son Tim, and his favorite character, Tigger.

This was taken at Olivia's at Old Key West Resort, and was from the 25th Walt Disney World Anniversary.  Oh, so long ago, but still seems like yesterday.  My Tim is now 22, how is that possible??

My Disney Pin Collection Monday

Today we feature one of my favorite new pins I have purchased.  The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions, so I just love this pin featuring Mickey and Donald in a Doom Buggy with the Hitch Hiking Ghosts peaking over the top!

They look just a bit frightened............don't they?  Guess it's the offer to join the 999 happy haunts, and knowing there is room for more!

Hurry back..............and don't forget to bring your......death certificate!

Walt Disney World Resort of the Week - The Grand Floridian!

This week, we take a look at another resort on Walt Disney World property.  I have never stayed at this resort, because it's a little out of our budget comfort level, but hopefully someday!

The photos below do not belong to me.  I found many of then on the Internet, and no names were connected to them, and I do not claim them.   They are posted here for viewing purposes only.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a AAA Four Diamond Award–winning, Victorian themed luxury hotel and spa located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The property opened on June 28,1988 as the Grand Floridian Beach Resort.

The red-roofed Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa exudes a romantic Victorian ambiance with tea service, fine dining, and old-fashioned umbrellas on a white-sand beach; modern perks include a health spa.

Guestrooms at Disney's Grand Floridian are decorated as they might have been a century ago, with soft colors, pale-wood armoires, Victorian accents, and marble-topped sinks with old-fashioned fittings.

We Will be dining at the resort at 1900 Park Fare on our trip next month.  I will be taking a lot of pictures of my own, and will feature them here as a Part II!!

FOODIE FRIDAY!

We are really looking forward to many of the great meals planned for our trip to Walt Disney World in a few weeks, but the one I am really excited about is breakfast at Be Our Guest!

I have dined here several times now over the last couple years, but never for breakfast since they just started that recently.  I have had lunch twice, and dinner twice and enjoyed all the meals very much.
I am also excited about this because Paul will be with me this time...........his first at Be Our Guest, and our first trip together since 2012.  As I was typing this up, it really just hit me!  It's been three years since he was there last!!  So many awesome changes have happened since then.  "New" Fantasyland and all it's attractions for one thing!  The only thing he was able to do there back then was go on the updated and expanded Dumbo, and The Barnstormer.  I am more than anxious to show him all the new attractions.

So, back to food!  Below you will find the menu for breakfast at Be Our Guest.  Also, I have a few pictures I located on line.  Not sure who took them, but I am not taking credit as the photographer.
