I was lucky enough to take my second trip in less than a years time to WDW this post May. This was a solo trip that I had always wanted to do. Paul went fishing, so I went to my happiest place on earth! I did really miss not having him there, but enjoyed my time alone, and meeting up with several friends I have who are "locals."
The timing of his fishing trip was perfect, as it fit right into the schedule of the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. The festival was celebrating its 20th anniversary, so it was even bigger and better, so I was told. Since I had never been before, I really didn't have anything to compare it to, only from pictures of past displays.
I was totally blown away by the beauty of all the floral and topiary displays. As a person who loves flowers are gardening, I was in awe of the artistry of everything on display.
My favorite areas were the Tinker Bell Butterfly Garden, the Cars area, Peter Pan, Hook and the crocodile, Winnie the Pooh and friends, Beauty and the Beast, and the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs displays. I was so taken with everything I was almost obsessed with taking pictures!
I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorite pictures from the festival.
Stop back tomorrow when we reveal my #22 favorite thing at WDW!
It's amazing what they can do with the flower beds, isn't it? AND THOSE TOPIARIES!!
