As We Mourn the Loss of Walt Disney...........

We will never, ever forget the magic he brought to so many.
It always makes me wonder the direction certain projects would
have taken (such as Epcot) if Walt had not passed so young.

One thing for sure, the world is a better place because of his
creativeness.

FOODIE FRIDAY! My Lunch Experience at Wine Bar George!

My lastest, (not really a word, I know!) and saddest day on my September trip at Walt Disney World  concluded with a morning trip to Disney Springs, and lunch.
I did some shopping at the World of Disney, Pandora and Basin, then I headed to my last lunch reservation at a place I was anxious to try.

Wine Bar George was my choice.  I am so happy I was able to go, because it was great!  I was seated upstairs, so it was quiet as there were only a few of us up there.  It was nice to have the quiet because it gave me a chance to reflect on the last six days.

The view upstairs was great.  It overlooked Disney Springs, and I could people watch, which in not a creepy way, I enjoy when I am at WDW.  Some people are very entertaining and they don't even realize it!

The tables on the other side of the glass were actually outside.  It was a bit warm out.........so I didn't want to sit there.  I chose to cool off a bit.

I totally love the wine barrel tables!  I would love to try and make one of those for our new house!  (Hint to my handy husband  there!)

I chose a nice glass of Rose' to go along with my lunch choice.
This was the Sabine, Rose' from Provence, France.  It was one of the on-tap wines, and it was very good.

I selected the Chicken Salad Sandwich on the lunch menu.  It was very tasty, and not heavy.  Since I was flying home later, I didn't want a big meal.  The house chips were very good as well.

All in all, I would highly recommend Wine Bar George, and would love to try it again on our next trip for dinner.

Here is the complete lunch menu for this location.
