FOODIE FRIDAY Returns! Things I've Never Had!

FOODIE FRIDAY is back!  I've had a lot of you asking for the return, so here we are.
I thought I would start with a series on "Things I've Never Had", because there are so many things that are new, or just places I have never dined at, or stopped at, etc.

So, that being said, here we go!

I have never been to a WDW water park on any of my many many trips.  Am I getting the deer in headlights look from you right now?  Maybe, but we are usually under such a time crunch for our trips that I never want to miss a thing in the theme parks, so we just have never taken a day to try them.  When you only get a week at a time off from your job (Heaven forbid that you should ask for more time!) you only have like 4-5 days for your trip, and when you fly in and out, there is 2 days right there.  Now that I am retiring in June, maybe I will be able to take an extra day and finally visit Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon!

Today we take a look at Arctic Expedition at Blizzard Beach.  The items here are all specialty alcoholic creations and different beers and wines.
I sure would be done swimming if I made the decision to try something at this place.
I'm not that great of a swimmer, and I would be too unsure of myself in water after consuming alcohol.  As the standard disclaimer goes, please drink responsibly!

THROWBACK THURSDAY! Frozen in August?

The Frozen parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios
was so cute!  On a hot August day in 2015, it almost
made me feel cool.  No, not really!

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

We took the "Caring for Giants" tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom in February of 2018.  We totally loved it, and we enjoyed the small group of people as well.  This really gave you a great opportunity to ask question and get information from our guide without feeling as if you were going to be taking too much time.  This tour is only 60 minutes, so it's not an all day thing.

I loved this almost as much as our Wild Africa Trek we did in October of 2012.
If you are thinking about doing either tour, they are well worth your time, and money.  Yes, the Wild Africa Trek is rather expensive but I would love to do it again if I, or we have the opportunity.  Links from both tours can be found below the photos I have shared.

Here are the links for both tours from the My Disney Experience website.  Please read the "know before you go" section for each of these tours.  They are not for everyone as you need to be mobile, and physically fit to an extent.

Silly Saturday! May the 4th Be With You 2013

May the 4th Be With You in 2013, I was at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  What an awesome day it was.  So much fun!  Spent the day with my friend Brent Dodge from From Screen to Theme, and one of the things we did was ride STAR TOURS together.

Below are some of the photos from that day, and the attraction silliness!

Enjoy!
