Sentimental Sunday

Wow, here we are already almost smack-dab in the middle of July!  How fast the summer is going, huh?  Well, at least for us it is.  In a way, that is a good thing.  It's making the date for our cruise not as far off as it has seemed to be like, forever!  On the other hand, it's bad because it just means that fall and the dreaded Chicago winter will be upon us sooner than I care to think about.

That all being said, I take you on a journey for this weeks Sentimental Sunday to our last full day on our last cruise.  It was a day at sea, in which the biggest and most wonderful event happened.

A note was left on the clip outside our stateroom.  It was from the Dream staff, requesting our presence at the Vista Gallery on deck 4, at 4pm.  We were a bit inquisitive wondering what this was all about, but we did as we were requested.

We were given the special privilege of our own private photo session with the main characters on the ship.  Those being Captain Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy and the ever crazy Chip & Dale.

Both Paul and I were brought to tears when these characters came out into the Vista Gallery where the staff had us waiting.  A touching moment indeed!  We were made to feel so special, and Disney Cruise Line will forever hold a special place in our hearts by them doing this for us as we celebrated Paul's one year victory over cancer!

Here we are with the gang!

We finally got an individual picture with Pluto.  He was the only one of the character above that we did not get to see earlier in the cruise.

Join us again next week for Sentimental Sunday!
