FOODIE FRIDAY! Our Last Day at Walt Disney World 3/7/20

This is really sad in more ways than one.  This story is about our last day at Walt Disney World for my birthday trip.
This almost brings a tear to my eyes when I think about it, and what is going on right now.  But, I digress.

Today we talk about brunch at Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs.
The brunch is a weekend only thing.  It runs Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
This was out first visit to Homecomin' and I have to say we were really impressed.  Our server was great, the atmosphere was really wonderful and the food was fabulous.

We started out our brunch with Bloody Mary's and they were very tasty!!  Why not finish our time at WDW with a bang!  Paul ordered the SOUTHERN MARY featuring Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, Whiskey Willy's Bloody Mary Mix with pecan-smoked bacon, fried green tomato, pimento cheese-stuffed olives and seasoned salted rim. This cocktail runs $15.00, but it totally worth it!

I had the PROUD MARY which was the classic version with Tito's Handmade Vodka, seasoned salt rim, with celery, pickle and olives.  This one runs $13.00 at current menu pricing.

For his meal, Paul ordered off the specials of the day menu.  This had 2 eggs, corned beef hash, a biscuit and fresh fruit.  I can't recall the cost now.

I had the french toast off of the regular brunch menu.  It was totally delicious!!!  If you love french toast like I do, you will love this too!  This ran $17.00, and was totally worth it.  I also got fresh fruit with my meal.
My goodness........the bacon was delicious as well!

Since we knew we would not be having a meal until much later in the day at the airport, we got some dessert too!  I just had to taste the Hummingbird Cake here!

WOW!  This was as good as everyone said it was, and then some!!
Here is the link to the menu from My Disney Experience.
Below are some interior shots we took from our table.

Well, that brings my birthday trip coverage to a close.  Next week I will start talking about what is to come for my next trip.  Even though that has been postponed from April 30 to September 1, I still have something to look forward to!!
See Ya Real Soon!
Kris.
