FOODIE FRIDAY! Day Four of Birthday Week Fun!

Hey gang!  I hope you are all holding up during this crazy time.  Here is something I am hoping is just a bit of a distraction from what seems like "shelter at home" day #5000..................

We had breakfast/brunch at Trattoria al Forno at 10am.  This meal only is a character breakfast, and I have to say not only was the food wonderful, (and not a buffet...yay!) but the character interaction was great.

This location features Rapunzel and Flynn Rider along with Ariel and Prince Eric.  I just love all four of them, so this was a great experience.

The pastries were totally delicious!!

This is the breakfast we ordered.  I got sunny-side-up eggs along with the meats.  Paul got the over easy eggs.  The food was really, really good!!  This is the

Flynn was trying to win me over with his smolder..........Paul gave him the look!

                                                       Prince Eric was so sweet!

                                                            That's my girl, Ariel!

                                                     Who does not love Rapunzel!?!

After our meal we did some resort hopping so Paul could experience the Skyliner.  We went over to one of my favorite resorts, Art of Animation so he could see the CARS area.  He loves the film, so I took his photos in front of the icons in the area (that will be another post coming up soon.)
We headed over to Disney Springs from that resort and had a late lunch at Raglan Road.
We were not all that hungry so we just got appraisers to tide us over until we were going to have a little later dinner.
We ordered the chicken wings and scallops.  They were both really good, and a nice amount of food for an appraiser size.

I did not take photos of this, but we did have dinner with friends at Big River Grille & Brewing Works over at Boardwalk.  We all had burgers.  They were good, don't get me wrong.  It was a basic burger and nothing to write home about, but the service was good, and the prices are pretty reasonable.  You do not need a reservation here, so if you are doing something last minute, it's a good place to go over there.

That's it for today!!  Join us again next week as we talk about our meals at Disney's Hollywood Studios! See Ya Real Soon!
