FOODIE FRIDAY!! The Last Food Booths on My List, and Tokyo Dining!
Hey everyone! Welcome back. This is my last post for FOODIE FRIDAY before I leave on my next Walt Disney World Adventure this coming Monday! I can't believe I just said that!! Monday. I'm usually really prepared with everything at least two weeks ahead, but not this time. Craziness has been going on around here with redoing the outside of our house, work has been extremely demanding, my Mom has been ill, (and not doing really well........so if you could spare a prayer it would be appreciated.)
Today I am going to talk about the last of the food booths that I want to try at Food & Wine Festival. Since there is so much to cover, I am just going to pick 1 item from the rest of the bunch.
I am also doing dinner at Tokyo Dining with an "Eat to the Beat" dinner package so I get good seats for the 8:00pm show for Sugar Ray. Tokyo Dining is one of my favorite places to eat at WDW because I love the atmosphere and I love the sushi!!
SIMMERING SIPS MIMOSA BAR
Gotta try the Almond Croissant with a Blood Orange Mimosa! That just sounds like a delicious combo!
THAILAND
Marinated Chicken with Peanut Sauce and Stir Fried Vegetables . No beverage here is on my list.
WINE & DINE STUDIO
Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Vinaigrette, along with a Rainstorm Silver Lining Pinot Noir Rose.
and, this!
Well, that's it! That's it you say? I know..........they will have to roll me to the bus that night for sure!! It's a good thing I will be walking about 10 miles around the place that day!!
Thanks for reading the blog during this series, and I can't wait to report to you on all the food items I get to taste on this adventure! See Ya Real Soon!!

PRODUCT RECOMMENDATION!
I saw a post about this product on The Mainstreet Mouse Facebook page. For my trip coming up I was having a dilemma. I wear a watch (can't live without it) I wear a Fitbit to track steps (yes, I could tell the time on this but in the sun it's very difficult to see) so, wearing a Magic Band is almost a problem.Yes, I can tell time on my phone, but don't have it out all the time.)
I ordered from bdiproducts.com hoping the product would be helpful. I can't believe the quality here! I was planning on wearing my pin lanyard this trip, so I can hang the holder on that.
The biggest issue was getting the disk out of my magic band. The screws are so tight and tiny I had to take it to a local jeweler we go to for help. He was finally able to get the screws out for me.
This has a expansion retractable string that is included so getting through entry gates will be really easy!
I'm very impressed. There are many styles to pick from. I chose the Tree of Life since my band is green.

FOODIE FRIDAY! #7, #8, #9 & #10 FOOD BOOTHS I WANT TO TRY!
Hey there! Here we are again at FOODIE FRIDAY! Is it me, or has the last week gone really quickly? That's good, and bad. I've been extremely busy with family stuff. My Mom has not been well, and has been in the hospital for over a week. She's out now, and in rehab, but she's 95 and with major issues, so she will only come so far with gaining her strength back.
Anyway, it's not good too...........because my trip will be here before I know it and with everything going on with her, work, and trying to finish our house (we've been doing new siding all summer, ourselves!) To say it's been an extremely busy summer is putting it mildly! And......then there is the fact that the sooner the trip gets here, the sooner it's over as well. That's the sad part.
So, here we go with the next four food booths that I want to try.
#7 is China. They have duck!! That's all I needed to see to know I had to go here! The Beijing Roasted Duck Bao Bun with Housin Sauce is totally speaking to me!
#8 is The Chocolate Studio. One thing I like even better than duck, is CHOCOLATE!! This also has my name written all over it! I know........not exactly diet food, BUT HEY!, I'm on vacation, and I will be putting in so many steps on this trip that I will be power walking all of it off anyway! The Sweet Dark Chocolate Raspberry Torte is calling out to me all the way up north!

#9 is Costal Eats. I saw scallops and said to myself.........I gotta try it! I love, love, LOVE scallops and order them whenever I can. Seared Scallops with Roasted Corn, Butterbean Succotash and Chili Chipotle Butter Sauce........how can anyone turn this down???

They have the New England Lobster Roll......... DO I need to explain this?
Next Friday is only 3 days before I leave, so I will cover what ever is left.!!

I am going to try it again so I can really give you all a great review of this dish. (Sounds legit, right?) I think a nice Mer Soleil Reserve Chardonnay would go great with that.....right??

FOODIE FRIDAY! #5 & #6 FOOD BOOTHS I WANT TO TRY!
Today we head to South America and Canada! Yeah, I know right? Two places that cannot be any further apart from each other geographically........... unless you are at Epcot's World Showcase that it.
The Brazil food booth was next on my list as a possible stop,......... but then I read my friend Lisa DiNoto Glassner's blog page called The Castle Run(link below). She talked about this food booth and trying everything there that they had to offer. There is really only one thing that peaks my interest, and that is the Brazilian Seafood Stew!! I love all things included in this, and it totally looks delicious!
