FOODIE FRIDAY! Our Experience at Wine Country Trattoria

We had reserved the World of Color dining package so we could have great viewing for this spectacular presentation at Disney's California Adventure.  We wound up right in front (got a little wet with a windy evening, but it's all good!)  Anyway, we made our lunch reservation at Wine Country Trattoria.  

This was a wonderful dining experience on many levels.  First off, the setting was beautiful.  

Second, the food was absolutely delicious.  We had a special menu to order from for this dining package which then gave us special vouchers for the special viewing area for World of Color.  

We each had the salad, which was totally delicious.  I could have eaten a giant bowl of that and been really happy.  

Paul had the Potato Gnocchi and it was wonderful. It had a nice amount of the crab meat and was a perfect amount of food for a lunch. Very fluffy and light.  

I enjoyed the Braised Beef Ravioli.  There were three larger sized ravioli and it was not heavy either.  Usually you think Italian, and think mega amounts of heavy and rich.  This was neither.

And dessert was as delicious as the rest of the meal.  This we shared.  Since we were doing so much walking that day, I didn't feel guilty at all!

Last, but certainly not least, was our server, Graham.

 He was such a nice young man who was friendly, prompt, checked on us frequently, and was very helpful with information about our vouchers, and times for the World of Color presentation.  Disneyland should value Cast Members like this!!
