Originally known as Fulton's Crab House, and before that the Empress Lily, I can actually say that I have dined at all three now!
The change that has taken place to me is absolutely amazing. I can't even believe it's in the same "boat" so to speak. A boat that goes nowhere. It's totally anchored so it can't move.
So, this place got my interest peaked with Lobster Corn Dogs, and table side Lobster Guacamole! Good grief! These were totally amazing!
There could have been a little more lobster in the guac........as it's pretty pricey at $36.00!! It says it feeds four.........we were three people and there was just enough. I expected more, but it was very good. The Lobster Corn Dogs were really good!
So........what does one order at a place that is known for fish? Well, Paul did the "right" thing I guess and ordered the what I think was a special, as I do not see it on the menu that I am posting at the bottom of the page here. It was a battered fish, and I can't remember which one as I did not write it down. It was served with Sweet Potato Fries which were good. These were HUGE pieces of fish by the way! He said there was way too much breading on the fish, but the fish was good so he picked off most of the breading.
Our friend we were with got the Crabcake BLT. She said it was very good, but she could not eat it all. She also had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and said those were tasty.
I on the other hand, did something totally off the wall here and ordered a burger!
And a GREAT burger it was!! One of the best I have ever had actually!! Look at that melty, melty cheese!! My mouth is watering just thinking about how darn good this was! It came with fries, and I was fine with that. They were really good as well!!
We were all pretty stuffed from dinner, but our server knew we were celebrating my birthday, so she brought us a piece of Key Lime Cheese Cake for us to split! That was really sweet of her, and it was delicious!
I'm a citrus girl, so I loved this!!
