FOODIE FRIDAY! The Red Wagon at Disneyland Park
We were told by several people that the Red Wagon in Disneyland has the best corn dogs around. I thought to myself........."what can you do right or wrong with a corn dog, really?" Well, I found out what you can really do right! I gotta say, both Paul and I were really impressed with this food, and we agree.........these hand-dipped corn dogs were totally awesome!!
The "wagon" is so nostalgic looking, and the service was fast and friendly.

The Red Wagon shares a dining area with tables at the Jolly Holiday Bakery, so there was no issue with fining a place to sit right near the wagon. You can also just walk around with your food if you wanted to but we chose to sit and relax a bit.
Join us again next week as we feature our last dining experience at Disneyland.

FOODIE FRIDAY! Dining At Napa Rose
We dined with Disney pal Sam Gennawey at Napa Rose in the Grand Californian Resort and Spa on our recent trip to Disneyland.
This location is a prime example of fine dining at its best. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food and service was really stellar.
We began our meal with the Baby Field Greens Salad. The Sherry Vinaigrette dressing was delicious.
For our main courses I had the fish if the day, at the recommendation of our server Michael. Paul had the Grilled lamb, and he said it was delicious.
Below was the dessert I ordered. It was a chocolate mousse dome with raspberry sauce. It was so light and fresh I did not regret ordering it.
I regret that we were so wrapped up in eating, and conversation that I neglected to take pictures of our entrees.

This Day in Disney History October 16, 1923
1923:
Walt Disney (now living in California) receives a telegram from Margaret
Winkler (a New York cartoon distributor) offering to pay $1500 each for the first six of
his Alice Comedies. Also known as M. J. Winkler, she is the first woman to produce and distribute animated
films. Walt rushes over to the Veterans Hospital, where his brother Roy is recovering from tuberculosis, to tell him
the good news. (Miraculously Roy will leave the hospital the next day - a cured man!)

FOODIE FRIDAY! Our Experience at Flo's V8 Cafe in Carland
As we continue our dining adventures through Disneyland, today we stop for an evening "fill-up" at Flo's V8 Cafe in Carsland.
We really enjoyed out meal here and had to share some great pictures with you.
Both sandwiches we had were really good. Paul had the Beef & Cheddar, and I had the Turkey Dip. The only thing I didn't care for was the pasta salad that came with my sandwich. It just was not the kind of pasta salad I like. Paul ate some of it, and he liked it.
A really cute place to dine, and the Cast Members were great too!!

Throwback Thursday! Looking Back Four Years Ago Today!
It's really hard to believe how fast time goes by, right? That is especially true when you look back at an event, or a certain time in your life that really made a large impact on you for years to come.
It is now four years ago today that we went on the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom. An experience that Paul and I still talk about to this day. I really hope we get to experience this again on our next trip to Walt Disney World.
Below, you will find some of the great moments for us on this fabulous adventure. I will also have a link after the pictures so you can get information about this behind-the-scenes tour.
Seriously, if you are physically able to go on this tour, please do. I know it's not an inexpensive venture, but you will never regret the experience.
