SPACE 220 RESTAURANT AT EPCOT TO OPEN THIS FALL!

This is something I have been looking forward to for a long time!!  Two trips I had planned on making reservations for it, and it didn't open and didn't open, and so on.

Now the news is finally arriving that it will be opening before my next trip at the end of November.  Fingers crossed, right???

The Patina Group, which also owns Morimoto Asia, The Edison, and Maria & Enzo's, Enzo's Hideaway, and Pizza Ponto at Disney Springs, is now aiming for a Fall 2021 opening.
the Patia Group has been hiring staff for the new location in Epcot which will be located next to Mission Space.

As of course so many delays were caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic, this was just another project to suffer from this issue.  That being said, construction delays due to glass issues were at the forefront of said delays.

Information from the statement on the My Disney Experience site states:

"A Stellar Adventure

Embark on the ultimate culinary exploration from this new expansion of the Mission: SPACE pavilion.

Step inside Space 220—a celestial panorama of a space station—for a delicious meal! As you dine, peer out and enjoy amazing daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up.

Going Up and Dining Out

To begin your journey, board a special space elevator that will ascend to the stars! Along the way, viewports will give you an aerial view of Epcot as you travel high above the planet.

Upon your arrival, you will dine from a menu featuring modern American cuisine, more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines, and a wide selection of craft beer."

Right now, there is no posted menu on the site.  It just states, "Unique Themed Dining".

As soon as I get information about the menu, and when they will start taking reservations, I will be posting it for you, and for myself!

Join me again next week for another FOODIE FRIDAY!
