FOODIE (AND DRINK) FRIDAY! Our Next Stop of the Lounge Tour!

Last week we posted our plans to hit the Outer Rim at the Contemporary Resort.  After this we will hop on the monorail we get right off at the Polynesian Village Resort and head to The Tambu Lounge and after that take a peek at the Tiki Terrace outside at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto.  This second part is all based on the weather though.  If it's really nice, we will stop there...........if it's chilly or rainy, we will stay indoors.

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto does not open until after 4pm, and we will probably be there before that time.

We really love Tambu Lounge though, and it holds a special place in our hearts as it was the first thing we did when we checked into the Polynesian when we stayed there in February of 2010.

I know I just really want a Lapu-Lapu, which is the Myers's Original Dark Rum and Tropical Fruit Juices served in a fresh Pineapple topped with Goslings 151 Rum.  If not that one, I think the Tropical Macaw with Coruba Coconut Rum, Melon Liqueur, Pineapple Juice, and Cranberry Juice will work!......... I also know we have several other stops to make before we are done with this lounge tour.  I have to pace myself.  If we get a bite to eat there I should be "good" to go!

Those chairs next to the window in the corner by the bar was were we sat on our first visit!
Such great atmosphere at this lounge!

Tropical Macaw is the center drink.  So pretty!
I think the drink to the right is the Island Sunset, but I am not positive. Photo

The Full menu at Tambu is posted below.  Snacking on some chicken wings sounds pretty good to me!
