What a beautiful ship she is!! But what I want to concentrate on here today, is our last full day aboard the ship. This was a special day indeed. First off, we got free bingo cards to go play. That was fun. Never won anything, but that's ok.
When we arrived back at our stateroom, there was another note hanging on our door. It was a note asking us to go to the Vista Gallery on Deck 4, at 3:45pm for a special surprise. That was all it said.
When we arrived, we presented the note to the Cast Member who was working at the desk. She smiled, and said that we needed to wait over in the area where there were paintings all over. So, we did. It was about five minutes and we noticed a lot of Cast Members were approaching. Not really knowing what to think, we looked at each other and wondered...."what the heck?" Well.........we quickly found out!!
All of a sudden, the Cast Members were blocking the entrances to the gallery area, and a door opened and we were then surrounded by characters! Captain Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Chip and Dale! We had our own private photo session!! Both Paul and I were in tears at this point. DCL had gone above and beyond during the entire cruise to help us celebrate Paul's victory over cancer. This was the icing on the cake!! Disney Cruise Line, #1 in making memories last forver!!
WOW! Just WOW!!
We missed a photo with Pluto on other days, so just had to get this one with him alone!
