It has literally been over 20 years since the last time I had a meal at this location. Back then, it was a character meal, and my boys had a lot of fun. The characters are gone, but the food is still good.
As I was really trying to watch what I ate on this trip, but still getting some treats, I opted for a nice salad for lunch. I was really happy with my choice.
I started out with a cocktail which I do not find on the current posted menu. It was like a white wine Sangria, and was really refreshing as it was a very hot day!
I chose the Colony Salad with contained Grilled Chicken, Washington Apples, Sweet Pecans, Applewood-smoked Cheddar, and Dried Cranberries tossed with Field Greens in a Honey-Shallot Vinaigrette. It was delicious!!
And for Dessert, of course I had to get the Boston Cream Pie! (Hey, I was putting another 25,000 steps in that day, I deserved this!)
Over all, I really loved my meal. The service was great, the atmosphere was so realistic, and the food was great.
