FOODIE FRIDAY Has Returned! Future WDW Dining Destinations.

A little late, but Happy New Year from us.  I delayed starting this new segment on the blog page because there are so many new dining locations that have recently opened  in different areas of Walt Disney World.  So many new places I keep finding out about, and places I would love for us to dine on a future trip.

With that being said, here we go with out first installment.  This is not a new location....those will follow shortly.  We for sure have our favorites that have been there for quite a long while, and some places we have never dined.  I will indicate in each submission if we have or have not ever "indulged" at that particular location.

Artist Point

Located in the Wilderness Lodge, this is a fine/signature dining establishment  which features a "farm-to-fork" menu, according to My Disney Experience.  The theme here is rustic elegance and has an award winning wine list with 130+ selections of wines exclusive from Pacific Northwest wineries..

Even though I have had drinks in the bar adjacent to the restaurant which is called the Territory Lounge, I have never had dinner at Artist Point.

One of my favorite things to order is Salmon, and they have a very highly rated Chinook salmon dish which is served on a smoking cedar plank.  The most popular dessert on the menu is the berry cobbler.

Since this is a Disney Signature location, the prices are a bit steep, but from what I understand, well worth the cost.  It is a Disney Dining Plan participant, so if you have the dining plan it's not quite as painful.  You will need to use extra dining credits for it, but if you plan your dining experiences in a smart way, you will have what you need to use for this, and any other Signature locations.

The full menu is listed below:

Menu items and prices are subject to change without notice.
* Consuming raw or undercooked meats, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
I hope you enjoyed this, and will enjoy the future restaurants we will feature over the coming months.
See you next week!

* These photos were found on the internet, and I have no idea who they belong to, so I can't give them credit.
