Shenzi Saturday

Shenzi the Hyena from Lion King is our character of the day.  I am not really a big fan of this character, bit I guess a necessary evil to the trio of these nasty hyenas.  

FOODIE FRIDAY!

Today on Foodie Friday, we are focusing on our dinner at Triton's aboard the Disney Wonder.  This was my favorite dining room and was so happy that our first and last night dinners were here, as well as our departing day breakfast.  

Here are some of the pictures I took of our appetizers, main course and desserts from our table.  Everyone we dined with were very tolerant of my picture taking!

Faloo Friday

Faloo the Kangaroo from Rescuers Down Under is our character of the day!  I love Faloo, how about you?  (ooohh...I am a poet, and I don't know it!)

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

This week on Throwback Thursday, I take a look at the items I have in my possession from the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World.  My family and I were there in March of 1997 for six days. I know many of the Disney "purists" I am acquainted with did not like the "Cake Castle." Considering myself to be a Disney "purist" of sorts, I really liked it. The "cake" was only there for a short time in the history of the park and I am very happy I got to see it in person.

Below you will see two of the maps of Magic Kingdom from that week,  and some other things we were sent in the mail.

Next week we will focus on the items from EPCOT that I have from the same week.  See you then!

Today we have Thalia from Hercules as our feature character.  She's an ample lady so to speak!

Walrus Wednesday!

Are you familiar with Alice in Wonderland?  If you are, then you will know who this is!  Walrus is our feature character for today.  

'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax,
Of cabbages and kings,
And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings.'
'But wait a bit,' the Oysters cried,
'Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!'
'No hurry!' said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that."
