On our cruise aboard the Disney Wonder back in late October of 2014, we got to see TOY STORY-The Musical.  It was one of thee best shows we have seen yet.  

  So fun and engaging.

FOODIE FRIDAY! River Belle Terrace at Disneyland Park

HI again!  As we are nearing that 60 days to go mark,  I can't believe we are really down to those few days before we go, and basically only 10 more weeks to cover possible dining location for that trip.  To that point, I am going to skip to the nitty-gritty and only focus on places that we are totally considering.  One if which is the River Belle Terrace, which is located between the Golden Horseshoe and the Pirates of the Caribbean and offers a wonderful view of the Rivers of America.

On most Sunday mornings, Walt himself used to have breakfast at this location.  From information that I was reading, they used to serve breakfast here, but that option is not listed in the menu section for this dining spot now.  Disappointing, as I was looking forward to the constructed Mickey Mouse pancakes.  
So, that being said, lunch is a possibility, and that is the menu I will post below the pictures.

There is a lovely interior, so it's just as nice to eat inside as it is outside.

THROWBACK THURSDAY! A Peek Back at 2012

I know I have posted things about WILD AFRICA TREK at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the past, but I actually can't get enough of looking back at the experience.  It was so interesting, and such a challenge to myself, physically.  As my fear of heights has sometimes dictated so many things that I don't do, this was a personal goal to walk over the "rope bridges."

After the first part of your tour, you will stop at the rest station, and dine on African inspired foods.  We experienced the morning menu, as our tour left at 9:30am.  It was delicious.

Sample Menu:

Morning

• Air-dried beef and prosciutto
• Smoked salmon roulade with dill
• Fig cake with Boursin cheese
• Brie cheese and apricot
• Berry yogurt and dried cranberries
• Fresh fruit marinated in mint and ginger

We highly recommend taking this tour if you are psychically and financially able to do so.  It was money well spent.  I look forward to having the opportunity to do it again on a future trip.
