Squeeze Toy Alien Saturday

Today is our last post for feature character days.  aaaawwww....I know.  We will be starting something new tomorrow, so check back to see what we are doing.  

Anyway, I saved one of the best (my favorites) for last.  Squeeze Toy Aliens from Toy Story.  I love these little guys, and I am sure you probably do too!!

FOODIE FRIDAY!

This week for FOODIE FRIDAY, we are back on the Disney Wonder.  Today we are featuring our dinner experience at Parrot Cay (pronounced Key).  I really loved this location!  It was so very colorful and bright with all the tropical colors and pictures of parrots and other colorful things.

Frank Friday

One of my favorite characters from the Disney animated film Rescuers Down Under is Frank.  Frank is a character from Disney's 1990 film The Rescuers Down Under. sequel to the 1977 film. He is a green frill-necked lizard who was captured by Percival C. McLeach. He was voiced by the late Wayne Robson.

He is a small green frilled lizard, who frequently gets his frill stuck in things. He is very fast, hyperactive, a bit of a motor-mouth and a coward, though he does try to help and shows some guts when he ends up on Joanna's back and pulls a cowboy act with her.

Throwback Thursday

Hi again everyone!  This week on TBT we take a trip back once again to our experience on the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Here are some pictures of the hippo area.  I love hippos!  They are so ugly, they are cute!

Taran Thursday

Taran from The Black Cauldron is our feature character today.  Taran is headstrong and courageous, though occasionally foolhardy, and harbors an intense desire to prove his worth and heroism through noble acts. Indeed, much of the movie centers on Taran's search for his own worth. Taran was a foundling discovered by Dallben, the enchanter and farmer. As Taran grew up, he became restless and longed for adventures beyond the borders of Caer Dallben. His time would eventually come when, just after being granted the position of Assistant Pig Keeper for Hen Wen, Dallben's oracular pig, the animal escapes her enclosure.

Taran follows Hen Wen and soon finds himself caught up in an epic struggle that will determine the fate of the land of Prydain. During his adventures he meets (and eventually falls in love with) the beautiful Princess Eilonwy. With her help, he frees the ancient, magical sword Dyrnwyn from King Rhitta's tomb, an event that will set in motion the war that could bring about the defeat of the Horned King. Taran is assisted in his quest by many friends, including the self-styled Bard Fflewddur Fflam, the shaggy creature Gurgi, and the stalwart dwarf warrior Doli.

Widow Tweed Wednesday

Our feature character for today is the Widow Tweed from The Fox and the Hound Disney animated film.  This is one of my favorites, and I love both the main characters Copper the dog and Tod the fox.  

Widow Tweed adopts Tod the fox, and keeps him as a pet.  She is one of the main protagonists in Disney's 1981 feature film The Fox and the Hound. She is the caretaker of Tod. She was voiced by the late Jeanette Nolan. 

Widow Tweed is known for her kindness; she mentions suffering from loneliness after the loss of her husband. She is motherly, taking in the orphaned Tod and raising him. However, she also shows a firm, assertive side and repeatedly stands up to the antagonistic Amos Slade.
