FOODIE FRIDAY! Ariel's Grotto at Disney California Adventure

Sign for Ariel's Grotto Under the Sea Character Dining restaurant at the Disneyland Resort

We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto on Monday September 12.  The food was great, and the character interactions were wonderful, and quick so we didn't have to wait during our meal and keep stopping our meal.  The Princesses were all very interactive with all the guests.

The food was great, and the staff was very attentive to our needs.  Gratuity was added, but we gave our server extra since she was so good.

I totally forgot to take pictures of our lunches.

We both had the crab chowder for soup.  It was absolutely amazing!
For his entree, Paul had the Red Oak-smoked Honey-Whiskey BBQ Tri-tip and he said is was delicious.  I had the Grilled Lobster Tail Salad.  It was awesome!

THROWBACK THURSDAY! A look back at 2012 Food & Wine Festival

4 years seems so long ago, doesn't it??  Here are some pictures of us at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival from 2012.  I look forward to going again someday.

We went to a wine seminar at the Festival Center.

The presenter was Mariola from the Martin Codax co-op winery in Spain.  We fell in love with the products, and we still buy them to this day!  We also keep in touch with Mariola as we were fortunate enough to make her acquaintance when we were hotel touring at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts that evening.  She was staying over there, and we got to talk with her for a while.  She was so sweet, and she remembered us from the seminar!

A link to the winery website is below!

THIS DAY IN DISNEY HISTORY!

1976:
America on Parade has its final run at both Disneyland and Disney World.
Featuring oversized head costumes of historic Americans, the parade's unique soundtrack - synthesizers
and antique carousel organs - has been prepared by Don Dorsey (his very first project for Disney).
